My Background
I have enjoyed making art since childhood. I began as a sculptor and transitioned into painting. I studied and received a BFA from Tyler School of Art. I like to experiment with texture, color, movement and size to pull the viewer into my work. I believe art is unique to each person. When a piece of art shares a space, a relationship with the viewer is formed.

I paint in both acrylic and oil on canvas. I sometimes enjoy carving into the painting as well as mixing things such as plaster sand or paper to achieve a particular mark or texture.
